Call backs will be held following Thursday’s auditions, from 6-7 P.M. If you audition on Wednesday, the callback list will be posted on the Call Board at the end of the Fine Arts hallway. If you audition on Thursday, Ms. K will let you know after your audition if you need to return at 6 P.M. for the callbacks.

If you have signed up to audition for Peter Pan and Wendy then you will need to attend the audition information meeting on MONDAY MARCH 8 at 5:30 P.M. The meeting will be held in the Theatre Room, F115.

At this meeting you will receive the show packet, as well as rehearsal calendar, and choices of monologues for the audition. If you cannot attend make sure to see Ms. K before auditions begin on Wednesday!

We will be competing in Denton on February 5, 2010 and in Frisco on February 19, 2010. Come out to support the advanced theatre students talent and strong drive to get a Superior Rating this year!

Life in the Fat Lane is also a book, and if you are interested in the story (it’s a great one) we will have copies of the book to check out in the Theatre Room. Come by after Thanksgiving Break to check one out!

Due to various challenges and obstacles… the cast and crew of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe are happy to say that the show WILL go on!

Friday February 20 at 7 pm is the public performance. Turkish Delight sold at the concession stand.

Saturday February 21 (all day) is our OAP competition. We go on at 3:30. Don’t miss it!

Since we are a brand new program, we have next to nothing! Donations are the best way to get us up and running.

Here are some things we need and ways you can help:

1. building materials (any and all types of wood, foam board, etc)
2. house hold items that can be used as props (random trinkets, anything!)
3. furniture (we’ll take it!)
4. clothing, any and all!

You will get a receipt of your donation for a tax write off, if that is any more incentive to help

Also – for every show that Stafford puts on, you will get $1 taken off of your admission price for every item that you donate!

I am a McKinney native, so I knew that I always wanted to come back to North Texas and teach.

I attended The University of Texas in Austin, and graduated with a BFA in Theatre Studies. The program is designed to allow undergraduates to study theatre and education at the same time. We would take all of the theatre classes that the theatre majors took, and all of the education classes that the education majors took. It was a double-major without the luxury of being able to say “I am a double major”.

Aside from theatre, I am an avid swimmer and worked as a swim coach for 3 years at Westwood Country Club in Austin. I also taught private swim lessons. Theatre, however, has been my calling from a very young age, and teaching was the driving force that brought my two talents together.

I currently reside in The Colony, and next year will be a happily married Mrs. Miller! (just a little bit easier to say:) )

I could not be happier to be starting this program at Stafford, and am already impressed at the number of students interested in our activities. I hope that through the years we are able to gain momentum and members to create one giant group of extra talented drama queens! (and kings!)
